Bomber Command Association.- Excellent source of information regarding Bomber Command.
Royal Air Force (RAF) Bomber Command 1939-1945 - A great starting point for the researcher new to the subject. Contains a huge amount of useful information, hints and tips.
Commonwealth War Graves Commission. - Contains the full register of those killed in WW1 and WW2.
RAF Commands. - The message board is particularly good.
12 O’Clock High. Luftwaffe and Allied Air Forces Discussion Forum. - Excellent discussion forums regarding the RAF and the Luftwaffe.
Air of Authority. A History of RAF Organisation. - Superb and comprehensive resource.
British and Commonwealth Air Unit Register. - First class site with full list of all RAF Base, Squadron Veterans Associations
Ministry of Defence. How to obtain RAF service records, medals and information.- First stop for those wishing to research former RAF family members.
RAF Museum Hendon and Cosford. - Superb collections of aircraft and RAF memorabilia and also have extensive archives
Imperial War Museum. London, Duxford and Manchester. Outstanding collections. Photo archives are fascinating and should be more accessible in due course.
Royal Air Force. - The web site of the RAF. Good historical background information. Excellent
Public Records Office.- Hold a huge archive of RAF Squadron, Station and general WW2 records. Unique.
Australian War Memorial. - Another excellent resource with a superb on line photo collection.
Library and Archives of Canada.- Hold a huge archive of RCAF personnel and squadron records. Very helpful.
Burgewood Books - For all the works of Don Charlwood
RAF Fiskerton - A brief study of an old Bomber Command airfield in Lincolnshire.
No 103 Squadron RFC/RAF 1917-18. - An excellent account of the history of 103 Sq. during WW1.
Tim O’Brien Art - Member of the GAvA, artist, illustrator and designer.
Ulceby War Memorial web site. - Dedicated to the men of Ulceby who gave their all in the 2 World Wars with some background and local history.
The Mildenhall Register. 15, 90, 149, & 622 Bomber Squadrons Association.
Stirling Pilot. Dedicated to the young men who flew and fought in the Short Stirling.
