I am an adolescent male cat and have a problem with spots on my nose. They are big black ugly things and cause me considerable embarrassment. All the other cats make fun of me and call me Spotty Face. What can I do ?

Spots are a tricky issue to tackle but do not despair. It is all to do with growing up.

Try hot water, carbolic soap and scrubbing them hard with sand paper or a wire brush. If that fails burning them off with a blow lamp may work.

Failing that get a large paper bag, poke 2 holes in it to see out of and pull it over your head. Nobody will be able to see your spots. Eventually they will go away on their own and you will feel better.
